Since 2014, our family run Cattery at our home in the Dublin Mountains, Stepaside, Dublin 18, is run by Cat Lovers - For Cat Lovers, creating a loving, homely environment for your cats to enjoy. We have personally cared for over 1,000 cats at our cattery, and a further 500 cats with our home-visit service, all with different personalities and needs!. As a result, we are experts at tailoring your cats’ stay to their individual requirement. We provide all the comforts of home for our furry visitors with individual spacious floor to ceiling chalets, built to FAB (Feline Advisory Bureau) standards, overlooking our peaceful country garden. Classical Music, cosy Heating in Winter and cooling Air Conditioning in Summer, Aromatherapy Relaxation Oils, & lots of TLC along the way !! Each cat is exercised INDIVIDUALLY twice a day, while we clean down and feed, so they get a chance to stretch their legs and have a run about within the safe environment of our enclosed purpose built cattery.
Stepaside Cattery operates to the highest industry standards, and is an audited member of IBKCA (Irish Boarding Kennels & Cattery Association) ensuring Top Animal Care. Hygiene standards are our priority and so cats do not mix (with exception to cats from the same household) but while exercising, they can 'chat' to their neighbours through the door, or between the glass anti-germ barriers between chalets.
We are fully insured by Petbusiness.ie, and partner with all of the leading Vet Groups and Animal Hospitals in Dublin.
