What do I need to know before booking my cat in?

Please ensure to read through our terms and conditions detailed below before you complete the booking form.


Are there any specific things I need to bring for their cat's stay?

Please bring your cat's vaccination records and any specific food or medication they require. We recommend bringing a familiar blanket or toy to help them settle in.


What happens if I need to cancel or change their booking?

A 30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. For late cancellations prior to arrival, the full payment will be charged. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your booking, which is subject to availability only,  .


Is there anything else important I need to be aware of regarding my  cat's health, safety, or general care ?

All cats must be up-to-date with their vaccinations. We require proof of current vaccinations upon arrival. In the event of an emergency,  we will use our local veterinary service Village Vets or Blackrock Vet.

Daily drop-off/collection times

Are strictly 12pm - 2pm. As this is our family home,  we would ask that our privacy is respected, and that clients arrive at the allocated arrival/departure times.

Please note we are closed for drop-off/collection on bank holidays and from 24th – 26th December.


Daily rates

Rates are charged per day (or part thereof) @ €26 per day and includes dry food, litter, bedding, laundry, grooming, and photo updates. 

Bank holidays are charged at the daily rate.


Minimum charges

We regret that during peak season, we cannot facilitate stays of less than 1 week duration. Off-peak, minimal charges apply for weekend stays, i.e., €100 per chalet.


Payment terms

A 30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The total Balance is due on arrival.

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE CLOSED FOR DROP-OFF/COLLECTION ON BANK HOLIDAYS,, EASTER SUNDAY & CHRISTMAS 24th – 26th December. Bank Holidays are charged at the daily rate as we are still working looking after your Kitties !

[*]      PAYMENT TERMS Due to High Demand and Waiting Lists, a 30% Non-refundable Deposit is required at time of booking to secure your reservation. Balance of Payment is due on arrival. on arrival. LATE CANCELLATIONS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL WILL BE CHARGED PAYMENT IN FULL

[*]      CATS SHARING Sharing of accommodation is only available to cats from the same household with compatible dispositions. Please advise at time of booking if separate rooms are required, which will be charged at the standard unit per day price

[*]      We can only accept cats that are neutered, healthy, and are at least 6 months old. Our staff reserve the right to refuse admission of any cat/s who in their opinion show any signs of illness

[*]     We cannot accept cats that are not vacinated. Annual boosters must be up to date 2 weeks prior to arrival. We require a copy of your Vacination Cert at time of booking. Certs will be held at the cattery during your Cats stay. 

[*]      All cats must have a worm & flea dose one week apart, prior to arrival

[*]    We are not licensed to provide injections, or manage extreme clinical  conditions such as diabetes, surgery recovery or injury treatment. We can  administer basic medications, mixed with food or by mouth syringe, if the cat is compliant. In the event that a cat risks causing harm to our cattery staff or to itself whilst medication is trying to be administered, or refuse medicated food, we cannot be held liable for missed medication doses. 

[*]      In the event of developing an illness during your stay, our designated veterinary clinic is VILLAGE VETS Sandyford & Dundrum. If we are unable to contact owner/s or their representative/s, any treatment deemed necessary will be carried out without the owner/s consent. Village Vets do not provide credit facilities, so owners will be asked to provide payment directly to them.

If a contagious condition is suspected or diagnosed, your cat will be isolated for his comfort and to prevent cross contamination to our other cats. 

[*]      Cats must be transported in a clean, secure and suitable pet carrier to remain at the cattery during their stay.

[*]      All personal belongings deposited at our cattery are left at the owner’s risk.

[*]      The grooming of cats will be carried out as requested with your own grooming equipment (for hygiene purposes we do not share grooming equipment) However, we cannot be responsible for grooming any cat/s that get distressed or risk causing harm to our staff whilst being groomed.

[*]      Whilst every care and precaution is taken with our visiting cat/s, the proprietor/s and/or Management cannot be held responsible for any illness, disease, or death that may occur during boarding.
